Working on projects

I started filling in some muddy spots and leveled up the steps for the shed. Some of the extra made a slightly higher walkway. All the gravel I put down last year had sunk into the mud.
I dug out the bottom of the drainage and put the pipe in. This is where Heather crosses when she goes to the barn.
It is sealed and I'm trying to bring it up to grade. I've put almost a thousand pounds of rock dust around the pipe so far. It still needs a bunch more, but the crossing is WAY better than it was before.

Heidi wanted to help. So did Tessa, but she was behind the brush on the other side.

Catching up

As you might guess, the first couple pictures are from Christmas. I seem to recall the batteries in my camera dying as I took the second shot.
Allen doesn't look like this anymore. He cut his hair off and shaved. He also left today for ANOTHER week in France for his job.
Today was very warm and I took advantage of that to wax the truck. It shined up pretty well, even with the old wax I had.
It had been in the shed and repeatedly frozen. It separated and changed consistency from that. It didn't go on very well and didn't wipe off and shine right, either. Took a lot more work to get it to buff up to a glossy finish.
