new stuff

There is some news for everyone. I found a job in Kentucky, so that's where we're headed. It will probably take a couple months until we move the bulk of the household down. I hope it all works out for the best.

Other stuff going on

I helped Lisa and Jim with the new fence, mostly just digging a few post holes.

As I'm sure you all know by now, Sundown had her little one, who has been named Arizona. See Jim's blog for lots more pictures.

I started working on the blue parts to the car. I still have another coat or two to put on.

They are a fairly good match now, much better than the bright blue color they were.

Finally all done

The wood is finally finished. We filled the inside rack today. I changed the oil in the car today, too.












The yard is mowed and the garden is ready to plant. We'll still have to wait for another week to actually do the planting. It's still a bit too early.












Looking into the back yard, and it looks nice. It's the first mowing of the season for the whole yard. The front yard always starts growing first.

The wood pile is getting closer

This is what I have left for supply. The racks are 16 feet long, so there is a fair amount still left.












The side is done, and so is the back wall.













Allen and I got the first of the three remaining racks started.
