It's ours now

Heather out on the lot with me, checking out the place a couple days ago. It's covered in snow now.

This is the back corner. It's going to be a little more difficult to get fenced so the horses don't fall down the drop-off on the right side where the creek goes through. We'll still give them access to the creek for water, though.

Eventually home

This will be our new home, after some changes are made. Right now it is just a 3.3 acre lot. We are scheduled to close on it Saturday afternoon. It's on Stulltown Road, but I'm not sure what town it is part of. The mailing address is Owensville, I'm told.












The view from the back corner towards the front corner. This would be from the north-east to south-west. If I had taken a couple more steps backward, I would have fallen in the creek. It looks like it runs all year, or at least almost all year.

The barn needs some work and cleaning out, but it should stand for a few more years. The horses and rabbits should be happy here.

Storage rooms and Christmas

We started pulling stuff out of the old storage room.












Transporting it all over to the new rooms

And stacking it all in there. I now have 2 storage rooms, but they are closer to where we live and the two rooms are saving me over $30 a month.

Allen in the new suit he got for Christmas. Sharp!!
