odds and ends

This is the finished mowing job on the house side. The garden is visible towards the back of the lot and a little to the right.

The long end of the rabbit side of the barn has just one board left before being done. I ran out of nails. I guess we shouldn't have bent so many, but it was just so easy to do.

Mowing in Hope

All loaded up and ready to get started with the yard work over in Hope.

It really needs mowing. It is starting to look like a real yard now. The grass is getting a lot thicker. I mowed the house side first.

Then we broke ground for the garden.

The garden isn't going to be as big as the one we had in New York, at least not until after we get moved over here.

Then I started mowing the horse pasture side while Lynne and Heather were planting the garden. I don't have any "after" pictures. By the time I was finishing up, I was racing an incoming storm. Somehow, I finished up before it started to really rain.

Allen's Graduation

We arrived when the center opened for all of the guests. This was Clarkson University's 117th Commencement.

The graduates all filed in with bagpipes playing to fill all the seats in the center.

Allen is on the far side, about two rows from the back. They were seated in alphabetical order. We didn't know where he was going to be seated, or we would have tried to get seats on the other side.

Our new graduate. We are very proud of him! He has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering with a minor in Software Engineering and also in Mathmatics.

And since we were WAY upstate, we were treated to a little bit of snow before we left.
