Road Trip

These are just some scenery shots from the trip back.

The first part of 441 was a very nice drive. Pretty and very little traffic.

From the Smoky Mountain Parkway. Also very pretty.

Today's storm moving in. Heather took this less than 10 minutes ago and it is already storming. I didn't get pictures going to South Carolina. We drove through a torrential downpour getting to Anderson. Boo was happy. They needed the rain and I was happy to bring it.

A Little Bit of Everything

Just some picture updates from the last couple of weeks- Mom wading in Cave Run Lake shortly after she got to Kentucky.














It was a warm day and nice out on the lake. There wasn't too much other boat traffic and the lake was nice and smooth.













This was from the July 4th cookout at Lisa and Jim's. We sure enjoyed seeing everyone.














This was from today out on the Kentucky River. Another warm day, not much wind. The water was warmer than I like, though. The sonar unit in the boat said it was 91.













Even the squirrels were looking for something cool to drink.
