Big maple tree down

 Today turned out to be the day for some saw work. Let's get started!

 Getting the notches cut. This is one of the more important things to do right. They determine which direction the tree should fall.

 Every job has a supervisor. We had a good one for this job.

 TIMBER!!!

 The first part of the job is done. Time for a quick break before the second part.

This is the more labor intensive part of it. Cutting the branches up and hauling them to the burn pile. More to come when the burn pile is lit.
