Fishing on hard water

Cossayuna Lake. Yes, those are tire tracks















This was still the preferred method of transport

First you cut the hole and clean all the ice chips out. Then you have a seat (or stand, if you prefer) and start fishing. The ice is about 10" thick. It was pretty chilly out there today. Air temp was 8 and windchill about -10





Too bad I didn't catch anything.....

    It's not that cold! lol Mickey Mouse boots are the best way to go for those. and if you can get a game of tag going with a buddy(for some amusement) steal his creepers so he doesn't have traction . . . .
